アムリトサルに徒歩圏内、立地の良いホテル

アムリトサルから徒歩圏内でとても立地が良いです。旧市街の雑踏から一本横道に入るので、タクシーの移動でも不自由を感じませんでした。ホテルの設備は最新のものではないですが、スタッフの対応等はとても良かったです。

Good location as it is the nearest good hotel from golden temple but the front desk guys needs to change their attitude towards guests. There was a constant drilling noise in the hotel throughout the day and my wall was vibrating. Even had to call front desk multiple times for house keeping.

Needs trained staff.

Hotel is good, only a short walk from the Golden temple. Housekeeping staff have no idea how to serve guests. They need training. I told the frantic destiny and the response was "yes I know." Took three times before they cleaned the floor in our room.

Very Nice Hotel in the middle of the Market

I liked the hotel a lot, they made my mum's 60th b'day celebration a success with the friendly staff decorating the room.

5min walk from golden temple, clean, convenient

We’ve staid at the hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are small but big enough for two people. The hotel is clean. During our entire stay the hotel was building windows into an entire side of the building. Construction was noisy and dusty and one night lasted past 10pm. We’ve had a talk to Managment the next day and after a rather long debate got some money reimbursed for the inconvenience. The breakfast is very savory. Location location location, that’s what’s worth he money. Day time staff is super friendly and helpful and speaks English. Night time staff is friendly but English skills are poor. I will stay here again since it is a 5min walk from the temple and close to all markets as well as brothers dabha - a great local restaurant 🙏 Thank you

Suggestions and improvements

I think the rooms need to be refreshed, floor need to be wet mopped due to dust. I would also recommend frosting the showers shoulder high and removing the moldy & dirty shower pull down. Otherwise the stay was pleasant enough and staff helpful and nice.

Just be vary of staff.

Hotel is located so well. Facility is great but just be vary of staff and the directions they give - we had issues with our taxi booked by the hotel, quote was 800 rupees and had to pay 1200 rupees to the driver at the airport. Also taxi does not get to the hotel, a riskaw or walk is necessary which is an additional cost, time and money wise.

Mixed experience

Behavior of staff was very nice. Location of the Hotel is excellent. Cleanliness is moderate.Service quality is not good. In bathroom water accumulates. Hotel rates are high as compared to comfort provided.

Disappointing hotel

Very disappointing stay at Hotel City Park Hotel considering the amazing reviews I have read. The hotel is NOT clean. Rude staff. We tried to change room and they refused. Poor breakfast also. Go to Ramada hotel instead. It is in the center of town!

Conveniently located just steps away from the walking promenade where the J bagh and Golden Temple are located. Breakfast is not worth your time or money. No meat in this town. All veg. Horrible.

Very well located if you are visiting the Golden T

We had paid extra for an extra bed but the room was too small to add one. We had a really early train back to Delhi and couldn't even avail of the breakfast so ended up being really expensive for us

Fooled by the reviews.

We planned to stay for 2 nights on our trip from Delhi to Amritsar. We checked in at night around 12am as our train was delayed. But our experience that night made us check out first thing in the morning. On arrival, we were surprised to get such a small room for a family of 3. The bed for the third person was a blanket on the floor!!! There was a strong smell of vomit coming from the a/c. We did not use the a/c thereafter. The room was in a state of mess. Since we were tired from our travels, we did not have the strength to move out at night. I have clicked photographs which I will post later. I have checked into Holiday Inn. The hotel staff was not ready to accept our complaint and refund the money for the next day stay. But I have no problem with that but they should own up to it and actually clean the hotel. A big Zero rating from my side.
