The house (all except the Amdega conservatory) dates back to 1840 and is full of character and is one of three properties converted from a previous Country House Hotel, but has been redesigned for the 21st century and much use has been made of Laura Ashley fabrics and furnishings.

The semi-detached house is of an open plan design consisting of a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room, with a fantastic conservatory featuring the dining area, and two delightful en-suite bedrooms with wonderful views across the valley towards Wansfell Pike. The garden then slopes away from the house down a meandering lawn with mature borders to the ’secret’ garden which is a beautifully sheltered sun trap.
