"Nice little cottage surrounded by forest but minutes from downtown Amal. A few extra steps to book, but nothing difficult. Modern interior, fully stocked kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and coffeemaker, king size bed, strong AC in the main room, nice hot shower. Bring your own linens and towels, they are not provided. Indoor bathroom has a camp toilet, easy enough to figure out. FYI, parking is about 80 feet from the cottage, no driveway or sidewalk. I would definitely stay again."

"Stayed in Saffle in February 2018. Excellent well equipped cottage, warm and comfortable, beautiful location, quiet and peaceful area. Bettina and her husband are a very friendly couple, who greeted us at their lovely cottage and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is very well equipped- cooking facilities including, fire wood, towels and everything you would need for a homely stay away on holidays. Would highly recommend this Cottage, would love to go back to visit Sweden in the Summer...

"Wir haben eine wunderbar erholsame Woche im heimeligen „ Franks Stuga“ verbracht.Im geschmackvoll eingerichteten Häuschen haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt.Die aufmerksamen Gastgeber Kari und Brunjulf haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar.Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Håverud/ Slussen, Halmenshus Bengtsfors, Tisselskog/ Felszeichnungen und div. schöne Wanderwege sind in kurzer Distanz erreichbar."

"Das Haus liegt wunderschön ruhig und der Vermieter ist vor Ort gut zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Man ist auf ein eigenes Auto angewiesen, erreicht dann aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Freizeitangebote (Wanderstrecken, Strände am Vänern, Draisine,...) problemlos und in annehmbarer Zeit. Der Blick ist wirklich herrlich und die große Terasse und eine überdachte Sitzecke sind gut möbliert, so dass man sich fast rund um die Uhr draußen aufhalten kann. "We had the most fabulous stay at this hotel! Outstanding location, incredible room, delicious meals - breakfast and dinner and a truly wonderful service from all the staff. We enjoyed the canoeing and cycling. The sauna view is second to none. We loved Dalsland and this hotel. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Stadshotell. The room was great overall, although it could use more counter space in the bathroom. Frukost was great, although you need to learn to make CRISPY bacon, not lumps of fat. Restaurant menu was outstanding. You need a photo of Amal's most famous singer in the hallway: GUNNEL EKLUND, instead of all the blues singers who have no genuine connection to the city."

"The staff was not present for check in and we had to wait a long time. Despite great weather the staff did not open the pool. Broken shower door and broken furniture at breakfast. Staff refused to put out more breakfast despite many guests arriving 15 min before breakfast closed, so we did not get proper breakfast or even coffee. This place needs to rethink. "
