"The toilet flapper had to be pushed down after every flush. I’m sure they fixed it though? The small refrigerator was very noisy. The neighbors were renting several units and playing cards outside on the porch everyday until 10 PM and the talking was very loud. Like a party starting around 8:30-10.00. It was just annoying.
The place was small but clean. The jetted tub was nice. There was not enough parking. I had to park at the bottom of the hill in front of the office. Walking up the hill and to the far end of the condos was very hard on my surgically repaired knee, and then up 2 flights of stairs. There was parking right in front of the unit but it was first come and the rest of the lot was always full. so I had to carry my stuff over the unpaved surface. I’m elderly so I won’t be going back to there for that reason."
The Woodshed - charming 3 bdrm/1 bath bungalow in Enterprise
8/10 Good
"The place is a good location. You can walk to downtown area easily. The house is old but clean. The kitchen needs some upgrades. The living room and dining room is a large area. Big backyard plenty of parking"
3 Bedroom Farm Home. Sleeps 10 - One Mile Outside Joseph, Oregon. The Evans Farm
10/10 Excellent
"My 86 year old mother, her best friend, Bev, and I had the great privilege of spending 8-nights at the farm house of this beautiful 80-acre horse farm property. We can’t overstate how much we enjoyed the beautiful view and all of the critters that regularly stopped by to get their picture taken. It is like living inside a national park! The grazing horses were a visual delight against the stunning backdrop of the Wallow mountains, and the farm house had everything we needed. The owners were available on the property to make sure we were comfortable. This was very much appreciated as my mother had to visit the ER at the beginning of our visit and she needed time to recover alone at the farm house. Thankfully, Bev and I felt very comfortable leaving her as we knew that help was a text away. The property is located around a mile outside of Joseph and 6-7 miles away from Enterprise, so we were close to everything we wanted to do. We can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Evan’s Farm! We hope to be back here again. Five stars!"
Juniper Cabin. Private cabin with majestic views and clear stargazing dome!
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely, well-stocked, clean cabin. Beautiful views of the Wallowas. EV charging is a plus. Great place for star gazing. It is a great place to stay when visiting the area. Kathy responded quickly to all questions. I would highly recommend this rental and I would definately book it again."
The Bunkhouse, A Romantic Riverside Get-A-Away for Two
8/10 Good
"Was quaint and unique. (I'm 72 so the "romantic" part was kinda lost on me) Would urge folks to read carefully the the payment and charge schedule. Don't miss the rather large damage deposit that is due after the cancellation time is expired. (At the submission of this review, I am trusting it will be refunded as advertised) I also found it off putting to be charged an additional "cleaning fee" and then told in the "rules for the Bunkhouse" book that it was our duty to strip the bed and to take out the garbage before leaving. Hmm... It would have been nice to have a hair dryer available and some hangers in the wardrobe to help un-wrinkle our packed clothes. Never did get the TV working while we were there (though they did after our stay was over per a text message) The weather was not good during our stay so didn't get to use the deck. Looked nice and comfortable though with a pleasant view of the woods out behind. Access to Joseph and Wallowa Lake was good."
Glamping Tent at the base of the mountains outside Joseph, Oregon at Evans Farm.
10/10 Excellent
"Oh boy, Oh girl, did we have a great stay! The host was gracious and yet discerning allowing great privacy. We awoke to does and fawns, quail and baby quail, magpies and groundhogs. Even though the weather turned cold, we loved sleeping in our glamping tent. We had pony horses as “neigh”bors and loved their playfulness. Highly recommended and showering out in the wilderness!!"
