Cheap room so can’t complain too much. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Beard trimmings around the sink and hair in the ahower.

Think this is my 4th or 5th short stay at School Lane over the last 4 years. Love it's central easy to get to location. The amenities are just what I need - a clean comfortable bed, a decent shower and lovely pastries with hot drinks for breakfast. Staff are always attentive and friendly and rooms spacious & clean. Look forward to another return visit in the future.

It was our first time staying here, it was me and two friends (one is 5 months pregnant) we were visiting Liverpool for one night just for dinner, shopping and a little city break. The room was nice, we stayed in Suspicion. There was only one bath towel and the plug didn’t work so we had to ask reception but they were good at helping us. The hot water for the bath took 10 minutes to run hot which was annoying. The hotel through the night was extremely loud, we tried to go to sleep around 1am but there is a nightclub attached to the hotel and all you could hear was music and bass until 5am plus there is no soundproofing between the rooms so very loud and we barely slept sadly. We also had 2 or 3 occasions during the night where random people were knocking on our door because they were at the wrong door, it was an awful unrestful night. I did mention this to reception in the morning and got told that is the nature of the hotel and the noise is in the fine print and it’s part of staying in the city centre, we’ve stayed in the city centre before and never had these issues. Good hotel if there is a big group of you out partying all night but otherwise I wouldn’t stay again.
