"Our host was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the local region and keeping the attractive outside area clean. The patio and pool area looks across a mountain view, changing in the light from dawn to dusk. The apartment provided everything we needed including indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. Castelbuono is well served for bars, restaurants and points of interest. It sits in the Madonie nature reserve so is good for walking and wildlife ."

This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location . "

"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. "This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. "This property is incredible. So many carefully thought out spaces to enjoy the outdoors, including the amazing pool area. And the sunsets! Beautiful. The living space inside was wonderful and lovely decor. Everytime you walked into a space there was something new to enjoy. Carmelo warmly welcomed us and has great suggestions for food and places to go tour. The only thing to consider is being outside of any town/city centre there are dogs in the area that at times can get a little loud. "

"We all had an absolutely wonderful time. Villa Cecilia is everything we hoped for, and more. We loved the design of the house and the garden, inside and out. The pool is lovely and a good size. It was perfect for relaxing. Castlebuono, the nearby town, was really worth a visit, particularly the frescos in the church crypt.
