Good for a short stay

Good amount of space and all appliances are clean and modern. Kitchen nicely updated. Rooms were a little stuffy and air circulation was difficult. There is a swamp cooler but the vent needs some attention. Bathroom is large enough, tub and shower surround could be refinished for a more comfortable experience. Overall well maintained and very good check in system, information readily available speedy communication with host’s agents.

Very clean and convenient spot! The owner is very responsive and checks in regularly. The only downside is the area is a tad bit dodgy. There was a shooting our first night behind the Frontier restaurant, just a three minute walk down the street. But otherwise it was great!

Taryn was friendly and generally responded in a timely way.My biggest beef was that the property was on the second floor.It was a walk-up with a flight of stairs.Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal at all.But when you're traveling for two weeks and have a LOT of luggage, it was a hassle.Worse, I'd recently had surgery. When the host didn't offer an alternative solution when I was checking out, I knocked on the door of a total stranger (downstairs). Fortunately, he kindly offered to carry my luggage down the stairs.It was mostly the little things I found a bit annoying.Shampoo yes, but no conditioner.Wall clock with a dead battery.Empty ice bucket.A thermostat I couldn't easily regulate. It was either FREEZING or ROASTING.One day, wifi went totally out. Had to reboot, unplug, and wait for it to return.Very scolding-sounding rules about when to arrive and leave. It seems like within an hour either way is reasonable. It offered an unfriendly vibe.The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and the washer/dryer was convenient after staying a week. There was a helpful notebook with suggested sites to enjoy.Again, the second floor walk-up location was a problem for me. Prospective guests with any disabilities should consider themselves warned.Otherwise, it was fine.
