A great place to stay and relax for a family in Portugal. Apartment has everything you need and surrounding area is fab with lots to do. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The unit was clean na dhad all of the essetntials. The property was great and the near by pool outstanding. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good. Communication with Karine was easy and she responded to any questions we had very quickly. It was an ideal location for the exploring that we had planned for the Algarves. Thanks Karine

Nice large apartment, with everything you need. Very smooth check in process with a lockbox at the door. Host even let us check in early and check out late. Furnishings were a little dated and a smelly bathroom BUT great value for the location. Significantly cheaper than booking through the resort. As for the resort, Alfagar was VERY impressive. Amazing especially for families. You have full access to all 4 Alfagar resorts connected by cobblestone paths winding through luscious tropical flowering gardens. Over a dozen pools and restaurants, including multiple water parks/ splash pads/ playgrounds for the kids. Nice restaurant right below the apartment with a playground attached so you can let the kids play while waiting for your food. Delicious buffet breakfast and dinners can be bought through the resort as well. Gorgeous coastal pathway leading down to an almost private beach with a little cave carved into the cliffs for shade (highlight of our stay). Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent holiday complex

Nice and spacious apartment in a wonderful holiday complex with a lot of different pools. The children enjoyed it a lot and didn't want to fly back home.

Espectacular

El piso cuenta con todas las comodidades, y el recinto es una maravilla. Al lado del mar, piscinas espectaculares para elegir, restaurantes. Maravilloso en general!!!

Alfagar resort is incredible, so much to choose from, fantastic entertainment and great restaurants, communication could be a bit better, I had to ask for check in details the day before arriving as had received no information but they were quick to reply. Apartment was spacious in a great location close to everything and perfectly clean, wardrobes and sofas could do with updating and pillows are not great but did not make our stay any less enjoyable, the drains in bathrooms did smell on and off but we used air freshener and run water in shower/sinks and this seemed to do the trick.

Firstly, it should be noted that this apartment is part of a whole hotel complex (Alfagar Aparthotels & Resorts). The Alfagar hotel complex was great for our stay - 11 swimming pools, numerous bars / restaurants, evening entertainment. We had full use of all the amenities. Everything we needed in one location.The apartment is ok - spacious and clean, but it is dated. The bedding and pillows are not great. The worst element is the drains in the main bathroom - they stink!!

Très bonne vacances

Le site de vacances est super pour une famille il y a tout ce qu’il faut sur place. Multiples piscines animations spectacle kids club. L’appartement est très bien situé. La mer est accessible à pied. Petit point à améliorer la literie et les équipement de cuisine (couteaux) sinon tout le reste est top.

Génial nous sommes ravis !

Très bon séjour, appartement très propre (photos conformes à la réalité), accueil par Emanuel très chaleureux. Contact avec Armandina la propriétaire très bien et de bons conseils ! Alfagar est un lieu magique pour petits et grands ! Un grand merci !

Fantastic place for family trip

Our family had an amazing time. The location can’t be beat as you’re a few feet from a pool. The kids loved the water park / slides about 3 minutes from the room. They had lots of night time activities for the kids as well. The beach was a bit of a walk, lots of stairs, but that didn’t stop us (2 adults, 2 kids under 8 and a senior) from going every day. The place itself was perfect . Super clean, AC in every room and a good shower. Will definitely go back again.

Fantastic location & apartment

We were delighted with the property overall, was perfect for our family of 5, with 3 small kids. With a little bed manoeuvring, we fit all 3 kids in the 2nd bedroom comfortably. The apartment was brilliantly situated at Alfagar resort, which has lots of pools (not heated but fine in the sun!) and provides everything you need to hand for your holiday. Getting further afield was easy, we just used Bolt and Uber to arrange taxis. The apartment was well equipped, and clean and fresh on arrival. After calling Mr Emmanuel (phone number was sent to me a couple of days before to arrange check in), we had to wait about 30 mins for him to arrive and see us in, but it was no problem for us to get in earlier than the 2pm stated which was nice. Our only issue was a terrible smell coming from the main toilet, we did call to report it on day 2, but nothing was done throughout our 5 day stay. There was another small toilet which we used instead to avoid the smell. This was the only thing that might put us off using this place again, as everything else was perfect.
