Woodland Escape • Relax, Unwind & Explore the Poconos

Spacious, 3-floor escape, ideal for family or group vacations. Plenty of space to gather the group together and spread out as needed:
- 5 bedrooms + bonus room used as 6th bedroom (full room with a door - not an open space)
- 4 full bath
- 2 living rooms
- game room

The house has central AC, WiFi, hot tub, pool table, foosball, ping pong table, gas fireplace, three decks, outdoor gas grill, full-sized washer & dryer, and a fully outfitted kitchen.

It's a 15 min walk or 3 min drive to the beach/lake. By the beach there is a sand volleyball court, playground, paddle boat rentals, outdoor pool.

The marina is a 5 min drive. In season, we have 2 kayaks for use. Tennis and basketball courts are also located at the marina.

**PLEASE NOTE** - The rental comes with 8 guest badges which are required to enjoy the summer amenities. Children age 6 and under do not need badges. For the summer months, guests may purchase additional amenities wristbands from the community for $10 per day per wristband.

**Sorry, no prom, bachelor or bachelorette parties. The house is not a party house. If that is what you are looking for, please consider another property.**

Pet Policy - Max two dogs under 80 pounds allowed. Pet fee is $100 per stay. Dogs must be housebroken, no puppies (must be at least a year). Dogs must be leashed at all times outside of the house. Guests must clean up and dispose of all "potty breaks". Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture.

Towamensing Trails is located within 30 min of many Poconos activities. There's so much to do!

• 20 min to the beautiful town of Jim Thorpe
• 20 min to Big Creek Winery

Jen was very resonsive throughout the process. The house was a great gathering place and easily accomodated our group of 7 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. With multiple common areas, we all had somewhere to go. The large kitchen table was great for shared meals and games! The kitchen is outfitted with lots of gadgets, appliances, dishes, silverware accomodating large groups. Extra fridge and freezer space in the lower game room which is awesome with large groups needing to store food. We had a great time while visiting. I would rebook this home again.

Jen was very responsive and communicative throughout the trip. The check in and check out instructions were very clear, and the house itself was wonderful. There were more than enough towels and blankets for the whole group, which we appreciated! Jen truly went above and beyond.

Picturesque mountain retreat. Owner makes sure you feel welcome and comfortable. Great place for a family to get away and enjoy each other. As summer visitors it was just a short drive to the beach, the pool or the marina with two kayaks you can use.

Wonderful family spot

Lovely accommodations, plenty of room for our party of 14 to spread out. Many extras, pool table, ping pong, games galore, super large dining table to share meals cooked in well stocked kitchen.

Wonderful

We had a great two night stay here and can highly recommend it! The large dining table was great for all 11 of us to eat together. The kitchen is a bit small but well stocked for cooking a meal here. Loved the big windows, outdoor decks, pool table, ping pong, great hot tub, hot showers, individual thermostat in each room. When the fireplace upstairs is functional that will be the icing on the cake. Great communication from the host. Jim Thorpe is kind of a mess (awful traffic) on fall weekends. Great hiking in this area. Thanks Jen!

Perfect multi family spot

This house was absolutely perfect for three families with kids of various ages. The house is comfortable and well appointed, with lots of fun things to do inside. The community is beautiful and there’s even more to do outside! Easily accessible to all the Poconos has to offer. A truly wonderful place to stay with an obliging and responsive host.

Perfect for the whole family

Now I understand what Vrbo means when they state, "Superhost". Woodland Escape was spotless and equipped with everything that one could possibly need for our stay. Jen was super great with communication before and during our visit The rooms were nicely appointed with comfortable beds (sizes and configurations to fit every age and even a "Pack N' Play") and cute themes. The sofa in the main living area was gigantic and comfortable and a great gathering place. We sat our whole family of 13 comfortably around the table with plenty of room in the middle for lots of food. The hot tub was a nice respite especially on rainy days. We had some great intergenerational ping pong games (we didn't really use the foosball or pool tables but they were there if we had wanted them). There was an extremely helpful informational binder and flyers and books providing information about local history, attractions, and food. Some activities that we enjoyed: A family friendly rafting trip, a rainy day visit to the Butterfly Sanctuary (such a peaceful, lovely, low key, gentle place that was very welcoming -they had a presentation with audience participation suitable for all ages and plenty of crafts for the children), a ride on the railroad in Jim Thorpe, hiking in Hickory Run State Park, a visit to the amazing boulder field, and a trip to the coal mine for the less claustrophobic family members. The lake in the community was beautiful. We didn't get a chance to take out the kayak due to the weather.

We had 8 adults and 5 kids, the place was big enough to accommodate us all very comfortably. Jen was great with her communication, answered all my questions quickly. So many extra added touches that made the stay that much better! Would recommend this place to anyone!
