The kids’ room was particularly lovely - our toddler loved reading the books and playing with the toys, and slept like a rock. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pup to let off steam. The home is a bit outdated but very comfortable and has everything in it that you need. The location is excellent as you can get to the botanical Gardens, Mendocino and many great restaurants,. Overall, a very comfortable experience. And accommodating host."

"The view from the rooms is amazing! You look out on the water and see an incredible view of the waives crashing against the cliff and rocks. That is the reason to book. The rooms are nice and large, but dated. We had a fire place which we used even in August. The restaurant also has an amazing view, breakfast was good."

"The staff throughout the property were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The front desk team made us feel appreciated from the moment we arrived. The breakfast buffet each morning was very good and offered a nice variety. The only disappointment was the restaurant for dinner. We waited 1½ hours for food that never arrived, and we noticed several other tables eventually walked out after waiting just as long. It appeared the kitchen was severely understaffed and unable to keep up with the summer crowds. This seemed to be an operations and staffing issue rather than a reflection on the restaurant employees, who were doing their best. Unfortunately, there are very few dining options nearby, with the closest restaurants about 20 minutes away. By the time we realized our meal wasn't coming, many of those restaurants had already closed, leaving us with no other options for dinner. With better kitchen staffing and management, the dining experience could easily match the quality of the rest of the property."
