"This place is amazing—very new, clean, and beautifully furnished. The owners are incredibly welcoming and generous. We requested early check-in and late check-out, and they not only accommodated us but also upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. "This hotel is very good! The view from the hotel is stunning, and its location is convenient—just a short distance from many popular tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful, and overall cleanliness is acceptable. One minor drawback is that the bathroom fixtures and fittings are a bit outdated and not as comfortable as they could be. Additionally, the heater automatically shuts off at a certain time, which was a little confusing at first."

"Barceló Carmen is in a great location for walking to Alhambra and the Arabic/romany quarter. There are lots of options for dinning close by. We did not take breakfast in the hotel-so was not able to evaluate. The room facilities were well thought out and everything was designed well for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"The service at this hotel is outstanding! From check in to the breakfast buffet, housekeeping, etc. everyone was friendly and attentive. There is onsite underground parking (smaller cars better), a restaurant that serves all day and has a great tapas menu, and the breakfast buffet has lots of choice. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The hotel itself is easy to find as a driver and is about a 15 min walk from the centre. Highly recommend!"
