"I hardly write review. But I am honestly very pleased with our stay at this humble family owned establishment. A little hiccup during check in as our reservation didnt show up, but it was settled quickly with a phone call. Chris (the owner) was friendly and quick to get his wonderful son to get us checked in (in the freezing November weather!). Room is in wonderful condition. I have to highlight the nice, clean and warm bathroom. Ive not stayed at that many lodge and inn that has such a well maintained and clean bathroom. Kids love this lodge with plenty of room for them to move around. A pity we had to depart early the next morning, would have love to try out their breakfast. Overall, a great stay in Talkeetna. "

The owners of this property thought of every detail. As soon as we arrived, they had a personal note on the door super easy check-in and check out then we walk to are cabin and they thought of every detail from next to the bed on either side or both beds have somewhere you can plug-in. They thought of coffee with cream and sugar there even tea toaster. This place is amazing! They even thought of the smallest detail of a black makeup cloth. There’s never been one hotel yet that we’ve been at where they have a makeup cloth that’s black. I highly recommend this place."
"This is a lovely B&B on the hill behind Talkeetna. Our room, which was upstairs, had amazing views of Denali and the Alaska Range of mountains. It was also very spacious and clean. Breakfast is self-serve, but plentiful with lots of options. We loved this B&B, especially because of the views and the north-facing orientation of the balconies, which meant we could see the Northern Lights right from our room balcony or the main balcony of the house."
