"I had a 9.5 hour layover and booked a room for 6 hours. Once you've run the gauntlet of people waiting to get into the Pearl lounge you'll find the check in to the right. My room was small and basic, no windows but most importantly: Dark Quiet Clean Comfortable It's very much for sleep though there is a TV I didn't use. It's exactly what I needed for that length of a layover and surprisingly quiet. Air con worked properly and the shower was decent too. I'd recommend this to anyone needing a few hours of sleep. NB if you are coming from another flight you need to go through security before reaching the transit area but are airside for when you leave. "

"Everything about the hotel was excellent. The only glitch is that the the noise from wave runners in the canal gets amplified due to the building on both sides and gets annoying, but it is no refletion on the hotel itself."
