The 1st room they assigned me, I walked into it and the room had not been serviced. Same thing in the 2nd room as there was a sleeping bag on the bed and someone had been using the pillows. The 3rd room, the shower didn't work...and so they had to give me a room without a King size bed but 2 queen beds and the shower looked like it had fungus all over it and I could not close the bathroom door as it had wrought out and it was missing the piece that would go into the door frame to keep the door closed and they had string on the door and a nail in the wall, I guess you closed over the door and used the string to keep it closed.

unique and memorable place to stay. a fully renovated centre-block for the hotel (beautiful) with some slightly spooky, atmospheric buildings adjacent. architecture exhibit on ground floor with history of the place-- engaging!nice restaurant, clean rooms, friendly staff. close to art gallery. free parking. fun place to stay in buffalo!

"Charged me for 4 nights of room with jacuzzi, didnt have one for me.. Didnt reimburse the difference when given basic room. Day clerk said she'd "put a note on my account" after she admitted Overnight staff lied to my face on multiple occasions. Terrible experience overall."
