The lobby had a funky smell such that I had to hold my breath every time I passed it. The check-in was fast, but our non-smoking room had cigarette odor. Eventually, after the front desk clerk worked quickly to resolve everything, but my family could not get adjacent rooms any longer. I liked that our room had a window that could open and fresh air could enter to clear the musty smell. We did not dine at the hotel, but it was conveniently located to the Peace Park, bust stop and restaurants.

The room was large by Japanese standards, but it's not sound proofed, as my room faced the main street, it was very noisy and I had a difficult time sleeping. Also the room was very dark, I would have preferred a lighter environment.

Great Onsen and bedrock sauna on 9th floor and outside tub and room very good. Breakfast and dinner included buffet style not very good but it is optional, not many options nearby. Located in a residential area, high on a hill overlooking the bay so good views but not convenient.
