"The house is in a fantastic location - surrounded by a wood and bird song. The outdoor space is huge, and the pool and pool area is fantastic."

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "We were given a very personal and friendly welcome by the hosts, who explained details of the house to us. The house is very well equipped and spacious, especially since we were only two people! The house is well placed to visit this part of Normandy and the hosts were able to give good advice. This would suit many different groups of people. "My partner and I enjoyed a great Christmas break in this beautiful house. The house is situated just out of town so is peaceful and quite with beautiful surroundings but with shops and amenities only a short walk away. The property is very large and private with good facilities. Although the property would easily accommodate ten people we found that it was nice and cosy for just the two of us. The open fire is a lovely and comforting feature of the property. Overall we had a great Christmas here...

"Very nice and convenient stopover hotel. It may feel slightly tired at first glance, but rooms are practical and clean. Bathroom is small but well designed for the space. Water pressure in the shower is adequate, Front-desk service is excellent and swift; we arrived late in the evening with several suitcases, and we were immediately offered a ground floor room instead of our originally assigned room on a higher floor to accommodate us (without us even asking) which was extremely thoughtful. There is a wide parking area at the front of the hotel (shared with a restaurant next door) and the hotel is close to Bernay town centre which has plenty of food outlets and retail shops. We have rarely seen this level of service for the price of the room and can only encourage other travellers to use it."

"Easy walk from the train station. Elevator! Comfortable room and bed. The staff were super-friendly and accommodating. One of the receptionists changed my life by telling me how to get an inexpensive yeSim card so I’d have cellular service everywhere. (US travelers: Verizon service stinks in France.) Bonus: Discounts at some of the excellent nearby restaurants. On Saturdays the center of town, including the hotel, is inaccessible by car due to a lively street market."

"The hotel is simple and quiet. I appreciated the staff flexibility and kindness when I asked for assistance. I stayed in one of their renovated room ( which I recommend as the hotel is a little bit dated). The room had all the basics you need: modern TV, shampoo and soap in the shower, towels, storage space etc.). Breakfast (Buffet style) was very good with many choices. The location of the hotel is very central and convenient. I recommend this hotel for business or a layover (not a vacation)."

"Perfectly situated for a mid holiday stop over. Reception were excellent no fuss getting checked in. Rooms adequate if not modernised but perfect for a family and all you need. Location is near a massive retail park 3 m ins drive where you can get some food in the evening hours. Breakfast was also spot on. Recommend a stay if passing."
