Today I went for a 2 hour hike at Greenwood Conservation Area in Ajax. It was nice to get one more hike out of Ontario before I move.

This park offers a leash free area for dogs, consists of about 5 to 6 trails with the longest one being 2.3 KM.

There is an excellent River that runs through the park and the trails are pretty well marked although it's easy to get off them without realizing it.

There are several areas to park but the main parking is off of Wesney Road.

Parking is free and there is no cost to get into the park.

Super clean, lots of picnic areas, a small playground is located in the park and lots of dogs wow!

You will make a lot of furry friends here lol!

"The host responds quickly and is super kind and easy to communicate with. My only issue with my stay was the cleanliness throughout the house there was dust and i noticed under all the furniture it definitely hasn’t been cleaned in a while. There was one shower that was quite gross along with having no towels as well in that washroom. Some of the kitchen supplies such as oven pans were greasy and crusty. "The house had everything we needed, communication with the host was great, check in was easy, and the spa hot tub was a huge hit with everyone. My only complain is the quality of the beds - specifically the room with double beds, they are basically just springs and not comfortable. Otherwise would stay here again! "

"The design of the house was wonderful along side the others. My only downside is the noise, there was a dog barking loudly with a family running around above during the time one would want to sleep. Besides those it was a good stay."
