Had an amazing night with my husband at this hotel. Although the staff don't speak a lot of English, they were welcoming and helpful - the concierge walked us to our hotel room door (as it is a big facility and easy to get lost in) upon check-in. The room was very clean and well kept. The bathroom had great amenities; in addition to the standard stuff, it was also equipped with shaving gel, cleansing balm (have never seen this in a hotel before), cleanser, and face lotion. We were also welcomed with a Japanese snack on the table as well as bags of tea we can brew and relax beside the window with while taking in the great valley view. The yukatas were clean and very comfortable to wear - such a great touch to the onsen experience. The dinner was of great quality and the staff were very patient; we lost track of time and were late to dinner but never felt rushed to eat faster so they could clean up. The sleeping arrangement was all set up when we returned from dinner and was very comfortable (had a good night's sleep). The onsen itself was also very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend checking out the pool located outside for the view; which especially feels great if the weather is nice. If this is your first onsen experience, keep in mind that genders are segregated and typically, everyone is naked. We booked the room about 3 months in advance for a great price and truly felt like we got more than our money's worth. Highly recommend this hotel!
