A peaceful location, on large grounds. Stand-alone bungalow with adequate facilities, hot water, full kitchen. Covered deck. Private, quiet and peaceful. Good wifi.

Nice owner

The owner lady is so so kind and nice. She did lots of help and extra free of charge services like change air tickets for us etc.

Budget boende, man får vad man betalar för. Sunkliga sängar och spisen gick inte att få fart på. Trevligt bemötande och hjälp med att hyra mopeder.

Airport pick up didn't happen, when i sortted transfer and got to accom was greeted with a smile, room was tidy but in need of some updating, daughter had just arrived from Aus to help "updating" top lady, mama was a laugh, good 2 nights

A truly terrible experience.

This accommodation should definitely be avoided. The property is old and unclean; we found dead insects, cockroaches, and bugs throughout. Spending time in the garden is impossible due to the constant presence of mosquitoes, and resting is out of the question as the roosters in the garden start crowing at 4 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. We had booked a one-week stay but decided to leave after just two nights. When we requested a refund, we were told that everything was “in order” and that no other guests had complained. A truly terrible experience.

We had a great time at Gina's lodge. Spacious bungalow in a lush garden. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay very good. In addition, we received a lot of information about the island and life there, which we really appreciated

Gina's Garden

The venue is located in a garden setting in the middle of the island. The rooms have a reasonable standard of facilities but have seen better days. The swimming pool has been decommissioned. Take heavy duty mosquito repellent. Being inland we did not get sea breezes so it tended to be hot. We were further away from the beach and swimming/snorkelling facilities than we expected to be. Most of the tourism interest is on the north and north west coast of the island. You will need to hire a vehicle at most venues and definitely at this location. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels every day. The staff are reliable and helpful.

Not 4 everyone but it was our paradise.

We rented the lodge for ten days honeymoon and it suited us for the following reasons,quiet,private,far from populated area,close to shops as Aitutaki is a small island,although situated in the bush but not far from everything else,especially the beach.During the day we go out and have fun and during the night we come to our cabin and rest in private and peace until the early mornings when the roosters wake you up early but after 3 days we got used to it,Mozzies but we were ready with our protections,hot butwe found ways to cool down.thank you Des ad Tutai 4 the service.Thank you Aitutaki 4 the beautiful wheather.We are now back in Mlbourne and its cold.See you next time around.
