「駐車場がなく路上駐車となるが係員が案内してくれたので何ら問題はなかった。部屋についても丁寧に説明して貰えたので気持ちよく使えた。旧市街の中にあり歩いての散策にも便利。レストラン併設で本場のスリランカカレーや生絞りのジュースなどを扱っている。」

「Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided. They let me shower after checkout and stored my bag, which was nice! The room is very average, but there was a gap above the door that didn’t shut all the way which let bugs in at night. There was loud music late into the early morning hours from neighboring hotels. And, perhaps the most offsetting aspect for me was...

Hosts Phil and Wathsala are fantastic and very helpful. The gardens are lovely and well looked after by an incredible friendly team. 「ご主人は親切。移動サービスについて相談したところ、しっかりアレンジしてくれたし、感じの良い方（日本語は不可）。立地は中心部でロケーションも良い。WiFi接続環境も良い。部屋も清潔。シャワーやトイレも十分使える。コスパを考えれば不快感・不満点は全くない。施設自体含む全体的な古さ・アメニティーの簡素さなど細かい点が気になる方は、コストかけてホテルにするべき。そもそもVilla宿泊に向かない方だと思いますので。」

「Die Unterkunft war sauber und die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Bis auf die abgeschlossene Eingangstür in der Nacht war alles okay.」

「It’s odd that the main concern here is asking travellers to pay for their stay the moment they arrive/walk back in to the property/constantly. Payment on check-put is the norm and it’s strange to continually stay in places like this in Sri Lanka where they’re just obsessed with money. We’re all going to pay you for our stays - that’s normal. Please just let us be here and enjoy and pay on departure - which is standard. 」

「とても雰囲気の良い宿泊施設です。 スタッフのスニールさんがとても親切に対応してくれました！ 他のスタッフの方も非常に親切です！ 朝食はフルーツがかなりボリューミーなので、あまりフルーツが得意じゃない方は、少なめにしてもらった方が良いです。 もしくは、フルーツジュースのみ。 スリランカ風のオムレツは最高でした！スニールさん特製の"ジャパニーズソース"を掛けて食べると最高です。 ホテルは海のすぐ近くで、灯台も歩いてすぐです。ぜひ、早起きして日の出を見に行かれるのをオススメします。 また、ホテル周辺（300m圏内）にはカフェやレストランがたくさんありますので、散歩がてらで色々と回れます。 Barefootもすぐ近くにあるので、コロンボに行く暇がない方には便利かと。 とにかくここのホテルはスタッフさんが最高です！」

「3泊しました！ 最初の2泊は冷房がないとは知らずで 暑くて朝まで寝れず ファンも気休めレベル 最終日は部屋が空いたので 1000ルピー追加で払ってACのある部屋へ　 ファンもめっちゃ回るしなんで快適な！ テラス、リビング、キッチン、冷蔵庫は共有 水は初日に小さいのを1本くれました^_^ 水売ってます！ アメニティは0 タオルは交換すると150ルピーかかります！ 家族で経営してるのか みなさんとてもフレンドリーでした^_^」

「By far the best place we've stayed in on our trip. Here's why... Really quiet location away from the street noise/pollution. Very helpful, welcoming owners that don't bother you, yet go the extra mile to help (for example when I cut my foot open from too much beach dancing!). The room had all the subtle, useful things we often need as travellers...towels that are absorbent (not tissue paper! :-)), soap, spare loo roll, a knife (I used it to peel an orange), kettle, mosquito net that is...

「Villa Kusum ligger perfekt. Strax utanför Hikkaduwa kan gå annars tar man en Tuktuk. Frukosten var mycket bra. Familjen som arbetade var mycket gästvänliga, hjälpte till med allt vad vi önskade. Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende. Hälsningar från Thomas o Pia som gärna kommer tillbaka」
