"Absolutely amazing villa...the photo's don't do it justice! Highly recommend having a car as it is in a remote location and public transport not much of an option. "This Villa is a delightful well furnished villa.There were a couple of minor issues we had, but these were resolved quickly and to our 100% satisfaction.The only negative observation we have, although it did NOT affect our visit, is the spiral staircase upto the 3rd bedroom which is rather steep and not suitable for very young or elderly guests. This bedroom lacks an en suite and would necessitate trips up and down the spiral staircase to visit the toilet. I think this might be useful to point...

"An initial issue trying to check in but eventually this got sorted. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay. The kitchen equipment could have been better and there was nothing to wash the items up with. Only staying for two nights didn’t purchase washing up stuff. The shower head was also broken. Saying this I would stay again as these are minor points when compared to the overall experience/stay. "

But they had private family visits at the same time as having us and you are quasi in the same space. So there were no real privacy. We were kind of in the middle of another family. "Excellent value hotel located in a central yet peaceful and quiet part in Lanjaron. I stayed in one of the Double twin bed Rooms, with excellent views of the castle and mountains in the distance, the photos online really are representative. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all very spacious. Spotlessly clean, the bed was made and toileteries were replenished on a daily basis. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, inspite of my poor grasp of the Spanish language! Would say the only thing lacking was a small Refrigerator, however this is only a minor thing and I managed without it during my stay, particularly with the Pica Pica 24hrs vending machines on the main street in town."

"I think the largest positive issue was communication. I received a Whatsapp message after booking informing me of the process for checking in, parking, getting in the room and checking out, all of which went well. I even replied to the initial message to find out what was in the apartment cooking appliance wise, and they answered almost instantly. The room was clean and tidy with all the things you could ask for from a microwave, toaster, kettle and even a coffee machine. The cutlery and plates were clean, the view was fantastic with the properties design and layout meaning everyone gets an external view (ours was of the mountains and the sunset was fantastic). The shower was very powerful and worked well, plus the bedroom was clean with plenty of spare sheets and towels. Our son used the sofa bed in the livingroom and slept well. We visited in August and it was hot, but because it was technically out of season, parking was free with lots of spaces and the area was relatively quiet. We reccomend taking the ski lift up to the top of the mountain for incredible views. We will be returning in winter and we will definitely attempt to rebook this location. It's all set up for skis and boards with external lockers that are lockable and the lockers are just outside your room, so nice, safe and in the warm."
