The Lagar de Justa

Our mission is to welcome all our guests, specializing in family tourism on the one hand and business travelers on the other, while adapting to the needs of each guest thanks to the versatility of our buildings.

El Lagar de Justa offers 850 m² for you to enjoy relaxation and fine dining. It is a 100-year-old farmhouse that has been lovingly restored to provide you with all the comforts you could need, with ample capacity to accommodate groups of up to 16 people.

It consists of several buildings: the House (with 7 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus one shared bathroom), which is accessible to guests with limited mobility throughout the entire first floor; the Lagar, over 150 years old, converted into a dining room; the Hayloft, converted into an apartment while preserving various traditional architectural elements; the Granary, also converted into a multipurpose space offering 35 m² of open floor plan, which is also suitable for use as a workspace; Cortijos, with 85 m² of open space designed for your enjoyment, whether for leisure or work; the bread-baking room, with its wood-fired oven, a cozy space for both culinary and leisure activities…

During the restoration of Lagar de Justa, great care was taken to ensure accessibility, providing wide, step-free passageways and offering three accessible guest rooms with three accessible bathrooms.

During the renovation work, significant efforts were made toward recycling (separating waste, sorting trash generated during stays, etc.) and the use of materials, (opting for natural, locally sourced materials—such as stone, wood, and metals—and avoiding, as much as possible, the use of plastics and synthetic materials). Energy efficiency has been a guiding principle, with a commitment to local suppliers, avoiding unnecessary transportation, using high-quality insulation (double-pane windows, insulated wall cavities, state-of-the-art biomass heating, solar energy support to be implemented over time…), and using the most energy-efficient appliances available on the market, etc. With these measures, Lagar de Justa has achieved an x energy rating with an x CO₂ footprint, always striving to improve.

The reconstruction has firmly supported the local economy, recognizing the necessary support required by rural communities.

To bring Lagar de Justa to life, a meticulous, artisanal reconstruction of all its traditional architectural elements was necessary; the original basic structures have been preserved almost in their entirety, and the necessary parts have been rebuilt while remaining fully faithful to the original construction.

The mission of Lagar de Justa is to offer guests everything they could ask for, whether in terms of lodging, dining, entertainment, or sightseeing. The property’s features make it a versatile space suitable for both leisure tourism (spacious rooms and a garden, ideal for family vacations) and business or association gatherings (indoor and outdoor meeting spaces), adapting to the specific needs of each event.

The house offers the best connectivity on the market, both via Wi-Fi—with numerous repeaters inside and outside the house—and via Ethernet or cable, providing you with the services you need during your vacation or business stay.

At Lagar de Justa, we believe relaxation should be accompanied by good food, which is why we offer a large barbecue (featuring both traditional and Argentine-style grills)—a delight for guests who will doubly enjoy the spacious patio. Fuel is provided (inquire)

Knowing the pleasure derived from gazing at a fire and traditional architecture, the house features a large, double-sided glass-enclosed fireplace with the highest energy efficiency on the market—a delight for guests and completely safe for children, as it is equipped with the necessary safety guards.

While there are many qualitative differences between this house and others you may know, El Lagar de Gusta offers a wood-fired oven and its adjacent room (the bread-baking room), where you can cook and learn how to use it during the demonstrations held there, while sampling delicious treats.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house, though it is allowed in some of the many covered areas as well as in the 300 m² courtyard. Pets are also not allowed anywhere on the property.

The house consists of:

First floor: four excellent and spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms, featuring white limestone walls and wood from the pine forests that cover much of the province of Segovia.

First floor: Entirely accessible for people with limited mobility, featuring three spacious bedrooms, all with private bathrooms (two accessible and one non-accessible), plus a shared bathroom that is also accessible. A spacious kitchen (15 square meters) connected to a 5-square-meter foyer, creating a common area. Fully equipped with top-of-the-line, energy-efficient
