Convenient location and clean. Room layout and furnishings were a bit odd - we had a massive ground floor room with hazy views of an alleyway, perhaps the higher rooms were better? Gym access at nearby university rec centre was nice

Look out stay was acceptable and dining good. The staff were exemplary. The hotel is showing signs of aging and needs a little tender love and care to pick it up. It is badly in need of a spring clean in bar, dining and foyer areas to spruce it up and make it a more welcoming area. Probably comparable with other complexes of the same vintage. Bedroom good size and beds comfortable.

This is my 3rd stay at Rockford & I stayed here for 9 nights. What I like is the location, not super central but close enough to everything. It’s quiet enough, minus the weekend nights but not too bad. Staff are always great and were helpful. Room was always refreshed, would have thought halfway through new sheets would have been provided.
