We were sight seeing most of the day. Room service meals were tasty. Breakfast on the last day was finally buffet style as in the pictures. No TV for two days. Bathroom was leaking. Airport shuttle driver was not helpful with our luggage out of the van. Overall customer service needs improvement as well as housekeeping and maintenance. The kitchen staff was wonderful.

This hotel needs a refurbishment. Although the room was clean, everything is kinda old. Very poor amenities, no shower gel, only one towel. Rooms are very dark. e Not enough lights

4 days stay @ Hotel Eliana

It’s a nice hotel comfortable beds, clean linen, friendly staff at your service right from front desk manager to F&B manager to GM. The airport pickup was a breeze. Very comfortable stay at this hotel with excellent views. WiFi was hassle free, warm water in bathroom available, kettle with enough tea bags always available. Suggestions - the Bathroom fitting and fixtures can be upgraded.

Rooms were neglected . Hotel itself is depressing. Staff is unhelpful. Bell boy telling me he make 20 usd a month and that i should tip him. Every room he attempted to give me had issyes. Safety included. Lunch was 1500 birr and they were putting it away. Bad enough options were minimum

Very outdated. Everything was old. Not clean. Bathroom had issues with leaks and the roof was open here and there. The only thing great about this place is the view outside.

The hotel is located in a key area which is more attractive for visitors. All Staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is beautiful has a lot of options, rooms are clean and the small touch of dressing gowns and slippers are excellent. What my family and I would comment on for improvements are the fixtures need to be checked and fixed eg the light in our room was flickering and we had to unplug the whole thing, the shower in one of the rooms did not have the hot water working and when it did work it had no power at all, the towels need changing (they are clean but very old). Apart from that the hotel and staff are excellent.

Friendly stuff, but as usual in Africa things don’t get repaired and the hotel has - at only two years age - broken stuff everywhere. Still one of the better options compared to other accomodations in Addis. Location is at busy intersection with lots of traffic.

I was a guest of the hotel for two weeks, I liked it and I will return. The staff are very kind and helpful even if they should be trained and educated better, but everyone is still very kind and polite... by improving they could do much better and earn more money. Unfortunately, the Piassa neighborhood is a disastrous construction site, they have destroyed all the tradition of the neighborhood to build horrible buildings that will never be inhabited or finished (Addis is full of skeletons of buildings that have never been finished for years!) The hotel is very central and well protected at the entrance. The food is good.

The property is ideally located in the prime area of the piazza neighborhood with easy access to transport and amenities. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and ready to meet your needs at any cost. The hotel room and all accessible areas are spotlessly clean. Buffet style breakfast is provided at a cost with an option to order from a menu. The food is decent with a fairly reasonable price but it is not first rate. They used to have rooftop bar and restaurant but was unfortunately unavailable for unknown reasons during my stay. Plus, one out of the two elevators was out of service all the time and was a cause for some inefficiencies in several respects. Overall, it is a fabulous hotel and I'd certainly recommend it to others but the hotel must also improve its efficiency to provide services that match its status as a world class hotel.

Everything in this hotel seems to be broken down. From light switches to bulbs. My room had very little lighting. They tried to charge me $20 because I arrived early on the checking date and was allowed on the house. Nobody communicated this the extra charge when I was being allowed into the room.

Be careful

Everything was ok the hotel was in a great area the staff was great but unfortunately the front desk Manager tried to pull a fast one on us by saying we are not allowed to sleep in the same bed as 3 people we need 3 beds so he had an extra bed put in the room we never asked for nor were we informed that there was an extra cost, which we found out at check out and strangely we could only pay cash because the night before that rule was changed. Yeah ok we know it was a lie and he wanted to pocked the extra money. We refused to comply and pay cash and i said to stop this nonsense i'm willing to pay one night for the extra bed on credit card but not every night. And all of a sudden the credit card machine came out and worked fine. That was not cool, please be aware!!!
