「Lovely place to stay. Especially liked the nostalgic touches. Really felt like we'd stepped back in time. Very friendly landlady. Even had farmyard animals.」

「The restaurant was excellent as were the ales and wine list. Good location for the South West Coast Path and bus service stops right outside. Breakfast supplied by the nearby Farm Shop was delicious.」

「The staff were faultless, and paid much attention to my border collie (not surprising: that always happens.) The room was too hot and there were a lot of strange stains on the walls. Very weird. The rooms were good otherwise. Bathroom very stylish and functional. Bed= comfortable. Good thread count on the linen. Biscuits good. Coffee undrinksble. I’d stay again, but I’d bring my aeropress. And I’d try not to look at the walls. 」

「A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend.」

「The Bull is centrally located in Bridport with all the towns facilities within easy walking distance. The hotel itsrlf was very welcoming and the staff efficient and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed. We stayed on a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We took advantage of the guest car park which was safe and easily reached through the hotel. Would stay again if in the local area.」
