Fabulous stay

A beautiful old hotel right in town center close to museums and restaurants and bars and shopping. The staff was all lovely and helpful, the bed was super comfy, the bathroom spacious, clean and well appointed. Who could ask for anything more!

Perfect Hotel

Fantastic hotel filled with charm and history! Very pleasant staff, that make every effort to be helpful and polite. Great breakfast with quality products and very nice surroundings. Location is perfect in what I feel is the best area of Århus for shopping, eating and a night out. Top tip: Park cheap (for Århus) at NAVITAS underground parking.

Overall, great historic hotel that has recently gone through a major restoration and upgrades. Great romantic atmosphere, beautiful architecture and decor, perfect location, close to both the harbor and the old city. Central station and diverse shopping and dining options nearby. My room was very tiny and I would prefer a more practical VIP gift than a huge bottle 🍾 of bubbly for a solo traveler. Breakfast is available and good but overpriced.

Wonderful, classically designed hotel with the oldest working elevator in northern Europe. I felt like I was in a Bond movie. Breakfast served in the Queen’s Garden is exceptional, underneath a beautiful chandelier. Excellent touches with homemade jams, nut butters, and a variety of juices. Extremely comfortable bed. The hotel is in the center close to everything. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Ikke særligt rent

Værelset var fint, men der var utroligt beskidt. Der var flere lag støv mange steder, ikke rengjort i badekarrets afløb, ikke støvsuget under sofaen, så der lå skidt og affald og i skabet fandt jeg en gammel kvittering fra Meny i Charlottenlund fra tidligere gæster. Man skal leve med at dørene binder og det er slidt, da det er gammelt hotel. Jeg havde en klar forventning om at der ville være klinisk rent når man betaler så høj en pris og det er 5 stjernet hotel.
