"The hotel was clean and comfortable. Lovely rooms with all the comforts you could require. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful. "It’s our second time staying at the Doubletree in Brighton. Whilst our room was great, large, and had a huge bed, it did unfortunately stink of stale cigarettes. I don’t think the room should have been assigned to guests unless it had been aired for a few days.
In saying that, I know that this hotel is usually perfection so wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
Breakfast was amazing and in a beautiful room too."

"The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!"
