"Villa Argentina is an absolutely stunning hotel. It’s just a short walk from Dubrovnik old town in the perfect location. The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and attentive, they really made our stay perfect. If you are thinking of staying here, do not hesitate to book. It’s the most beautiful setting with gorgeous gardens overlooking the ocean and the old town. The rooms are really spacious with very comfortable beds. We stayed for our anniversary and the team made it very special. We...

We just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel More. Of course the surroundings are magnificent. But the hotel staff and on-site facilities are what make or break a hotel. Delicious food, beautiful pools with views over the sea. Total relaxation. The staff treated our family with care and kindness each and ever encounter. Hotel was gorgeous and very clean. We reserved ocean front balcony and it was worth it to have a view of the ocean. The pool was amazing with lots of chairs and umbrellas. The beach was also nice (bring water shoes as the beach is rocky) with lots of chairs and umbrellas. This hotel is a bit out of the way from all the downtown things (which we liked for the quiet aspect) so food options were more limited, but the food the hotel offered and few restaurants on property were very yummy.

Here's the gig: Dubrovnik is not huge. The walled city is beautiful but only so much to see as it is mostly restaurants and repetitive shops. A couple of museums, a church or two, etc., but one good day or afternoon and you can cover the highlights. Don't miss the cable car to the top of the hill at twilight. Spectacular. Having said that, this hotel gives you the option to enjoy spectacular views at the seaside, a gorgeous walk along the coastline into town or a 10 minute bus ride from...
