「Banlung is a dusty provincial capital without much going for it other than gem mines in the surrounding area. One diamond in the rough, however, was the Yeak Loam hotel. The clean, modern room paled by comparison to the wonderful, helpful staff. I hope to visit Banlung again, and when i do, ill stay at Yeak Loam!」

「Adorable little homestay on the western side of Banlung only a short walk from the center of town. The bungalows are spacious, clean, and have hot water showers. They only serve on specialty for dinner: beef noodle soup, and it’s easily the best soup I’ve had while traveling Cambodia. Stayed for dinner both nights just to enjoy the soup again!
