「Wonderful hotel close to the beach and the promenade 」

「Friendly and welcoming staff, good location for town centre.」

「Poor parking on arrival outside space in disrepair and overgrown. Met by a man who hardly spoke English. Dirty/musty smell hit you when he opened the front door- wet carpet smell. Shown to the room through a large room with 1980’s furniture pushed against the walls. Opened the door to the corridor and the heat from the radiator hit you. On entering the room carpet dirty (years) not days - everything covered in a layer of dust. 3 cups provided no saucer. Bottom 2 had biscuit remnants inside. ...

「Everything you could ask for. Easy and welcoming at check-in. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean and well appointed rooms. An excellent breakfast, couldn’t fault it. Also a great location, just 50mtr from the train station and bus stop.」

「Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time. Jonathan was a good host. The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave. Would definitely recommend. 」
