"Hotel was fine. The car park is quite small and there is a charge to use it. Get there early or you are walking from the multistorey next door. Cheeck was easy enough. Room was fine and wifi was good. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and borh were nice. View from the restaurant is depressing but thats no fault of the hotel. Check was quick. "

"Friendly Hotel pub in a great location for the town centre. Nice welcome and quick check in. Room was fine but bed was a bit small for a double. Great breakfast and Sunday lunches are the best! "

"Lovely large room but disappointed about the size of the small double bed. Room was also very hot in the mornings. Tea and coffee refreshments were not topped up during our stay. Apart from the above comments a lovely hotel with lots of character."

"Located in a quiet setting, with ample parking at the door, the Red Lion is a hidden gem where patrons are put first by staff. The building is over 500 years old yet retains it charm and comfort. Couldn't recommend it more. "

"Everything was nice but the room I had was not fit for business as there was no desk per se. Appart frol that i loved the room nice carpet soundprooness Marshall loudspeaker (nice touch). "

"The propert was lovely, our room was modern and up to date. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and clean! The bathroom was so lovely and clean. I loved that you didnt have to go through the pub to get to the rooms although there was a walkway into the pub at the bottom of the steps if you wished too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. "
