"It’s very noisy inside our room. It’s coming from the blower of the aircon and the noise in the toilet is like the flush is filling up water. It’s non stop noise that distracts our sleep. Breakfast is so horrible. Rubbery taste sausage, bland scrambled egg, burnt toast (not allowed to adjust the settings of the toaster). Hash browns taste like saturated in oil, apple juice tastes like diluted in water. Didn’t enjoy it at all. "

"Used to be a lovely hotel. What a shame it feels like a building site now. We were in the main building. It is clearly undergoing renovations, which are sorely needed - but isn’t currently fit for purpose. "

"Facilities were good, room was clean - a little disappointment with the bed, as it was just two single beds pushed together. Everything else was fine."

"Was in the area on business. Nice, clean, decent sized room and en-suite shower room. Friendly welcoming staff. Only had breakfast in the restaurant so can’t comment on evening food but my full English breakfast was lovely. Only very minor downside is the lack of on site customer parking but I used a local car park across the road which was free overnight and reasonable rates at other times. Would come back again"

"Room very out of date. I couldn’t close the window, chipped enamel in the bathtub, leaking sink tap, luck of light/lamp at desk."

"There was a kettle with green , berry & fruit tea but no actual tea or coffee .Not as advertised. The shower head was broken with water pouring out of the side. The shower head drooped over not above as it should . It was a hassle to try to screw it back on.Trying to shower while holding it. The temperature control was difficult to set. It was scalding hot then the hot water ran out after a few minutes. I had to rinse off and wash my hair in the small wash basin that did have hot water. The heating was not on in the morning .I had a cold shower then came out to a cold bedroom Not a pleasant start to my day . For £82 I would expect heating and a shower that worked. The staff were welcoming and helpful."
