「As a woman traveling alone, I felt intimidated and unsafe. At 3pm when I tried to check in, reception was unmanned and no-one answered the phone. A stranger, a man working on his car in the driveway, attempted to approach me when I was calling the manager. He had no reason to approach me. I have traveled extensively over my life and have a strong sense of how to stay safe. This accommodation felt unsafe to the point where I could not stay there on my own. 「Stayed here as an overnight stop and it was great. Rooms were very clean with what looked like new carpet/furniture. We also managed to grab dinner in the restaurant when we arrived which was also great. Hospitality of the owners was exceptional」

「Room was clean and well stocked with cutlery, plates, toaster, jug, etc. Everything was in great condition. Staff were very helpful and lovely to speak with. Comfortable bed. Would definitely stay there again. 」

「Very run down rooms. For the price we paid it certainly didn't live up to "Econo". Very old bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee but no bloody milk. Very old tv so no smart connection. Can hear the neighbours next door. Much better places around.」

「Unique and wholesome stay at Splitters Farm. Highly recommended, particularly for family’s/animal lovers. Enjoyed the warm croissant deliveries each morning and the evening bonfires. Would recommend providing real coffee making facilities, but didn’t spoil our stay.」
