"We had the cottage closest to the dam. It was absolutely perfect, with the most amazing sunrise view from our bed, which the owner told us about otherwise we would have slept through it. Such a tranquil setting, wish we had more nights than our 2 nights, so we could have had more chill time at the property. Ideal base to explore attractions in surrounding area. "

"The place is in a beautiful area away from busy city but you can get to the town for food or groceries. It’s has kept animals that are natural for the area. I loved it & the stuff was wonderful"

"Loved my two night stay here. A tidy little hotel with small but functional and comfortable rooms. Great pressure in the shower. Lots of hot water. Nicely sound proofed so did not hear other guests slamming doors or chatting in the corridors which usually happens in many hotels. Also did not hear the traffic outside considering the hotel is positioned on a busy road. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was underwhelming."

"The unit itself was clean & functional. What I disliked was I booked a unit with private pool & paid extra yet was unable to utilise the pool as it was very dirty with tissues & debris. The water & surface was also not clean. I did let them know & have followed up with a request for a refund of the extra I paid but no response over one week later….."

"It was great to be able to stay over and hike the next day. There is a shop on the premises but it closed before we arrived. The apartment was clean and easy to use. No coffee pot (or French press), but instant is available. The hiking was great!"

"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."
