"There was a “jacuzzi” however it was just a tub and no jets and when we used the desk called and said we were flooding the area below us. Why have a Jacuzzi and not be able to use it? Why call a large tub a jacuzzi?"

Too bad it is located in a town where millions of dollars are generated from the super expensive restaurants and hotels and not one penny put back into its infrastructure. Tamarindo should have the best roads, sidewalks and a sewer system. I don't think it is "charming" to walk on muddy roads, right next to trucks and noisy cars. "

"Reception is excellent, fastest check in, in quite a while. Car rentals are available onsite. We had dinner & breakfast here before our journey south on the Costa Rica West Coast. There are a lot of family's that use this place as it is very close to LIR airport. The room was spacious, bathroom clean but starting to show signs of needing updating. All the staff that we encountered were fabulous. About the only complaint was that to get a bottle of water you had to pay $5 USD for a quart of local...

"This place is ver well located. Close to the beach the soda right next door and a close drive to coco beach. That being said it's not the place you want to be if quiet and relaxation is your thing. Loud music playing all day by other guests. "

Great location for beach access and every restaurant you can imagine. Farmers market nearby 2 days a week. Bring ear plugs for potential howler monkeys and the bar nearby that plays music until 2am.
