「Good food great helpful staff and cassowarys everywhere 」

「Compact room, but with everything you get in a larger hotel room, and well set out. Good security lighting outside, and quiet location, behind the pub. Very clean and newly renovated. My only mention would be that it was hard to find where to check in… had to go to the public bar. Maybe a bit more signage would help. Overall, would stay here again as it is a bit more modern and cleaner than some of the other options I’ve stayed at in Cardwell. Perfect for breaking up a long drive north. 」

「Very lovely place to stay, nice, secluded and quiet with beautiful scenery. Accomodation is amazing! 」

「Rooms are dated but very clean. Fresh towels each day. Lovely hot shower. Bar fridge & kettle. Very convenient location & the owner Jim was lovely & helpful. Traffic noise being on highway but expected & I wear earplugs so didn't bother me. Thanks for a lovely stay. 」
