"Noise from within the hotel during the night. Thin walls? When the fire alarm sounded in the night, guests gathered at the front of the hotel. It was quite some time before any staff appeared to offer guidance and explanations. The 'Deluxe Queen Room' on arrival was nothing like the picture when booked. The lack of a shower was strange: the bath mixer taps were extremely temperamental."

"Room size was below my expectations but it was still decent. Complete put off was the glass-walled toilet that was almost touching the bed. The toilet door didn't have any locking facility and it was a real struggle to use the same due to lack of privacy. The Glass wall had a big crack and I had informed the front desk already post check-in. The breakfast spread could have been much better. The private car park is lavish and this is a huge plus. "

"The staff went above and beyond, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel exterior is stunning and the room was exactly what we needed. An easy 15 minute walk to the city center. We will definitely come back next time we go to Canterbury!"

"I only have one criticism and that is the parking. Having booked through Expedia I was disappointed on arrival that there were no parking places available. I spoke to the reception who advised me that I could have booked reserved parking, unfortunately this information was not given to me by Expedia. I also think that with the number of places available preference should be given to people staying as opposed to people using the public bar. Tonbridge Wells is not an easy place to find parking. ...
