"good stay all around"

"Very good position in the centre of Strasbourg. Secure parking within easy walk. Simple hotel but perfectly adequate. Would recommend for city break. "

"Nice and welcoming staff, spotless functional room (although very small and basic). Very Good deal for the price especially during the Christmas market season. "

"Stayed at Hotel Esplanade over Easter. The location is excellent and the bed was comfortable, though the walls are thin and you can hear neighbors. Unfortunately, housekeeping missed vacuuming under the bed, and the narrow shower leaked water onto the floor. Breakfast is available but I didn't try it. Good potential, but needs better cleaning and maintenance."

"There was a bit of a musty smell in the room, but it was comfortable to stay in, breakfast was good, and the location was fantastic -- right by the tram stop and the cathedral!"
