"Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal."

"The room I had booked had a broken a/c so they moved me to a different room, slightly nicer, without charging me extra. They also helped me get my taxi to my next location. "

"The hotel is very nice, staf very attentive. The premises are nice, clean and the hotel location is excellent. They need to eork in the water lines to make sure the customers are able to get the right mix. Not too hot nor too cold"

"The rooms are clean and comfortable; Wi-Fi worked well and there was hot water in the shower. I had prepaid with Expedia, but I was asked to pay again in cash at check-in. With my limited Spanish I was able to show my receipt and that was sufficient. The key fob is huge; the idea being that you will hand in your key if you leave the property rather than take it with you. That way they can control access to who is coming and going. It was a nice one night stay. "

"Was unable to check in after 6 pm. This seems very limiting as manta gets two flights from Quito in the evenings. We had to get a different hotel, despite having paid for this one in advance."

"We checked out after one sleepless night. Our room was so loud inside it felt like we were in a nightclub, but worse, because it was a mixture of 3-4 nearby clubs and bars music. The hostel itself hadn’t even started any live music yet when we arrived. I don’t know how the Hostel can actually charge money for this room, let alone nearly 100 dollars. The atmosphere was dead, the hostel is really big and not particularly communal. You’d be much better off in a cheaper and smaller place 5-10...

"I loved every second of my stay. The host was so kind.she invited me for a walk and showed me the park at night and the next day she came with me to Pile to look at the production of the Panama hat. I was serves a wonderful breakfast and a great lunch. The Hotel is very clean and comfortable."
