"Good hotel, good location. Breakfast is good although same everyday but it’s free and tasty. Room was big good bathroom. Only problem they didnt have towels the day we arrived and had to wait to next day. "

"Really enjoyed my stay on The Santos Express train Royal coach. Very unique experience . Right next to the beach . Great outdoor space . Falling asleep to the sound of the sea and waking up to amazing view of the sea"

"Close to good restaurants "

"We liked the hotel well enough, but our stay was marked and marred by one disappointment after another. On checking in it was clear that a request of needs sent to management on booking our unit had been totally ignored. I'm handicapped and need a lift to access upper floors. Nobody took the trouble to inform me there is no elevator in the hotel! So, no access to our unit for me. Then we were blandly informed that the rooms had no aircon! This is at the end of summer when it gets hot as hell in...

"firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. "

"The lodge is busy with a major upgrade but still they catered for the fact that the restaurant and "bar" is closed for upgrades. Staff still very helpful and friendly so always a pleasure staying at the lodge."

"Vary good position in town walking distance to town centre and close driving for table mountain and the water front, pity there was not a fridge in room and shower could have had a bit more pressure "

"The place is just too noisy, do not stay here if you want to get any sleep. When doors close it vibrates through the whole building plus the noise of people drunk leaving the bar and running through the corridors and stairs is too much."

"Lovely guest house convenient to all facilities. Great staff and owners who went out of their way to help you. Clean tidy and a nice garden to relax in. Would definitely return if in capetown again. "

"This stay was so wonderful - thanks to friendly and helpful staff who were very responsive to issues, and an amazing farm tour and activities. One disappointment is we were not able to bike as there were no kids' size bikes available. Also, consider supplying the AfriCamps tents with citronella candles to help keep mosquitos away when outside in the evenings."
