"The location is the only tricky part. It’s 25 minutes walk away from the central station. And it’s on the hill. So if you’re carrying big luggage I’d recommend to use some transportation. Other than that, everything was perfect. The room is clean. And not too small. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall it was a lovely stay"

"A basic 2 single bed room with basic amenities being a kitchenette and bathroom. No tea towel, no floor mat for bathroom. Guest must strip sheets off bed and sweep apartment. Bed average comfort and room is looking tired from age and no recent renovations. Self check in via a hotel phone so no staff present to assist with anything. Not situated in a very nice neighborhood but 7 min walk to train station is 2 stops to central station."

"The hotel was beautiful with amazing views of the mountains from the rooms and dinning rooms. The breakfast and service were excellent. The staff made us feel welcome. If Norway were closer to home, we would love to vacation with our children and grandchildren at the Myrkdalen hotel often."
