The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "The staff didn't give accurate information - all the staff were Chinese so both English and Japanese language was not clear. There are 2 separate buildings. It's a very steep hill to the hotel, so it was very tiring to walk carrying luggage. The bath was not available at the time that we stayed. The toilets are small. But the room was clean, comfortable, and warm. The showers were also hot, but the water pressure was a bit weak. There are better places to stay in this area."

"The property is ideal for groups snowboarding or skiing. A 15 minute walk from the Yuzawa-Gala gondola, which is also the train station. There is also a ski and snowboard rental place 100 metres down the road which offer reasonable pricing, good service and a bus/van drop off service."

"It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. "
