「The accommodation is modernised throughout with quality furnishings, fittings and amenities. Mary greeted us at the door and is very welcoming and friendly. Excellent cooked breakfast and plenty of other choices for breakfast.」

「The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend. 」

Then I got an email saying they want to put their small children to bed…we were only 15 mins late…shameful if you’re running an Inn… also the front patio is covered in dead plants in broken pots. 15 mins work would have it tidied up」

「The Good: Great location! Really amazing view. Very roomy. Very pretty. Pub at the bottoms of the steps is superb. The Bad: Don’t book in the summer. It heats up 10+ degrees hotter than outside and takes hours to cool down at night. We came in August and it was sunny and 25 def outside which translates to 35 deg inside according to our portable thermostat. Kitchen is really poorly stocked. Two small pots big enough to cook soup or beans only. Fridge is a crummy hotel style mini fridge, no...

「The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. 」

「Very quiet which was exactly what we needed Close to the town centre , which meant i could enjoy a drink which is very rare for me . My partner complained the bed was too hard , i found it to be fine ( she just likes to complain ) Plenty parking round the back . Would definately return 」
