「Room was exactly how it was depicted. Super clean and modern for the island. It is quiet and secluded which is what I value. My host Lani greeted me and was extremely responsive to my texts when I had questions. I am planning to return to Rapa Nui and this is the only place I’d stay.」

「Cabanas Vaiora is located at 12mins walk away from the main road and 15mins to the beautiful ocean. There is a mini market close by (5mins walk), there, you can get the basic things including seafood and meats. The best point of this cabanas is the owner, Silvia's kindness. If you ask something to her, she can solve the problem. We asked for extra curtain, mosquito repellent, fan in the room and she provided us everything we need. 「The room had everything I needed - a coffee station, a fridge, a very nice bathroom and a fan. The room was cleaned every day. The staff are just the two owners a mother and son duo that helped me sort out everything on the island from transportation to tours and more all to my request. The only downside about this stay is the distance from the center of town but if you rent a car as most of the visitors do in the island it's irrelevant.」

「Beto (Father) and Tutti (son) own and operate the property. They gave us a warm welcome and ensured all our accommodation needs were satisfied. In addition, Tutti played host (required guide on the island) for the full length of our stay. He drove us around in his pickup truck and gave us detailed history of the island and the culture. 「Maybe good stay for Spanish speakers but I don't really speak Spanish and it was a difficult stay for me although the room was cozy. It's cabana style - there was no front desk or reception thus no go to place. The information booklet says you can call them but if you don't speak Spanish, you just don't know how to get the info. 「レンタバイクを利用するため街中から徒歩圏を選定。大きなハズレを避けるため超有名ガイド本を参考。気に入った点①ホテル入口は車1台の狭さだが、ホテル敷地内は色とりどりの花々で華やか。ホテル正面の空港敷地内に白い球型のタンクがあり外出から帰る時の目印になる。➁無料往復送迎がありアクセスは楽。気になった点➊無料Wi-Fiとあったが説明なし。利用しなかったので詳細不明。➋街中とはレンタバイクのために徒歩で1往復しただけなので全く問題ないが、食事とかで何度か徒歩で往復するには多少距離を感じるかもしれない。➌冷房付きはかなりの高価格帯になると思うが、こちらも冷房なし。帰宅直後は暑いが乾期のせいかシャワーを浴びれば問題なし。首振りのしない移動式の送風機がある。」
