「The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.」

「The owner is nice as can be, but unfortunately I have to be honest in this review- My night there was not pleasant by any means. Parking was a bit of an issue as the bar/restaurant loaded the parking lot and then there were cones out on the far end of the parking area which really made it hard to park. Front door to the room didn't entirely shut which allowed flying bugs into the room all night. There were gnats or something all over the room- on the pillow, on the bed, in the bathroom. ...

「Our room was not heated, and it was a cold, rainy day. No one knew how to turn the heat on, but eventually the Lodge's caretaker called and was able to explain how to turn on the radiator. Later, the power went out (not their fault! It went out throughout the town!), so we lost heat again. That said, staff were friendly and really went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. They truly went the extra mile. We were able to get our food at the restaurant before the power went out...
