"Great location"

"The room is quite small, but sufficient for someone traveling with moderate luggage. There is a window, though it faces the hallway, so the curtains need to be kept closed unless you don’t mind people passing by seeing into your room. The air conditioning is very noisy—you might wake up during the night thinking it’s pouring rain. "The property is in very bad condition, and the staff do not speak English at all."

"Good hostel for the price. Well located one block from the beach. Marina was amazing at reception. The previous receptionist had me in the wrong room when I arrived overnight but she was able to fix the issue, she very helpful and showed me where to get some good cheap breakfast near the hostel. Would recommend this place!"

"The staff is very friendly, they give free drinks between 6pm to 7pm, there are some bars around not far away, very close to ipanema beach for a walk"
