"Close to town, friendly staff, clean and comfy room. The breakfast was nice but the cooked breakfast was not self- service. Around the hotel there were plenty of seating areas. Some form of entertainment was held each evening. Although there was a lift to the upper floors, there were however a lot of stairs. The adjoining wall was paper thin or we just had a very loud neighbour."

"The girl who welcomed us was lovely and v. Helpful. The room was clean and adequate. The exterior was in need of a repaint and the front looked nothing like this photo. The breakfast area was OK and food fresh but Mr, and Mrs. grumpy were NOT so cheerful and had a couldn’t care less attitude. "I was pleasantly surprised. The room had an adequate size for me and had a kitchenette. The room and kitchenette were both very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette had everything, cutlery, pans, toaster, microwave, small fridge and small vitro. Perfect if you're planning on staying for a few days! Bathroom was also very good size. The service was also very good, staff were friendly, polite and always greeted with a smile! Overall, a great place to stay considering it's a 2-star hotel."

"We had a really wonderful stay at the Maison Gorey hotel in Jersey. We loved that it was in a quiet area yet with still plenty to do and see and several buses running regularly to and from St Helier. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Our room was beautiful and spotless with a modern TV (we brought a HDMI cable to plug in our laptop to watch our own Prime or Netflix films at night). There is free WiFi in the hotel. "The hotel was easy to get to by bus but also walking distance from the centre of town. The area was quiet, the staff was helpful and polite and the room was clean. Altogether a pleasant stay, I would go back to hotel Talana on my next visit to Jersey."

"The guest house is in a quiet road that is a bit away from the town centre and walkable if fit but has frequent buses that pass very close by. My room was fine and the owner,Colin, was just about the most friendly and helpful host I've ever met. Most people would just give you a number for a taxi but he arranged it for me "
