"CTY Books is in the perfect spot in Leiden, with a market just outside twice a week. Lots of amazing pubs/restaurants around too! The room was lovely (we had the loft) with a perfect view of the canal! "
"Right on the canal up from the old city but close to train station, too, the hotel is perfectly located. Great vibe to the lobby and pub on site. Nice rooms. And great pubs and restaurants right outside the door. "

Lovely city - all the charm of Amsterdam but without the craziness. We've been several times and it's wonderful. The beach isn't too far and worth a trip on a warm day. Delft and Den Haag are just a short train ride away and we'll worth a trip too.

Excellent
The Burcht is one of my favorite places to chill. Sophies Cat Cafe is a nice experience. No smoking inside coffeeshops in Leiden like in Amsterdam or the Hague.

This is a great town which seems to be overlooked on the tourist destination map of the Netherlands. Plan on spending at least an afternoon wandering the streets and canals. They also have a great hospital within walking distance of the hotel.

It is my Alma mater, a fabulous place to visit, so much to see and do.
"We stayed just one night in the “apartments” portion of the hotel. It was quite nice — double bed, double sofa bed, and a single cot, great shower, small kitchen. We used the hotel pool and the bistro restaurant. The free airport shuttle was convenient and easy to use. "
"Great place to stay with easy access by Metro into central Amsterdam. About 10 minutes by metro. Only a 5 minute walk to metro station. In the business district so quiet but lots of places to grab breakfast/lunch and a handy supermarket nearby. Hotel was very clean with pleasant welcoming staff. A great place to stay and reasonably priced too. "
"Beautiful hotel that has luxury vibes. There is a nature park right next door which provides a nice quiet ambience. It is in Amsterdam west don’t takes about 30 minutes to get into the central city but there are multiple train stations within a 10 minute walk. Would highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price. "
"Convenient location for Schiphol airport, with a hotel airport shuttle about a 10-15 min ride. A good access to the city center by train from Hoofddrop station, to get to the station requires to call Uber.
A good option if you want to have a 1-2 day lay over in AMS, want to have a quick visit to the city and catch an early flight next day. "
"Hotel was walking distance to the airport. Stayed one night. Rooms are high tech but only the size of a sea container. You had to crawl into like a camper bed but was a comfortable king size bed. Was ok for one night. Able to walk to the airport plaza for shopping and dinner options. "
