"I really enjoyed my time at Hotel Rubenshof. I found all members of staff very helpful and professional. In a way it was like being at home. I had a very good time and I fell in love with the breakfast room! I wish I could have taken it home with me. I did lots of walking but it was all very worthwhile and I would recommend this hotel to people who like me were on a budget but still wanted to have their own space. Thank you."

"I booked this property through hotels.com and they immediately sent me a message details, stating checkin was until 22:30. I messaged them back staying I would arrive between 22:00-22:15 but did not get a response back so I assumed I was OK. I arrived at the property around 22:10 and could not get in, I tried ringing the bell with no response. Finally someone came outside to smoke and they let me in. "This is a property Expedia and other websites should drop! Carpet: 1950's, worn through, Mattress early 1990's, curtains don't look like they have been washed since smoking in rooms was still legal. We were one of the several people at the front desk cancelling our second night. We made it through one with lots of antihistamines. I feel sorry for the old people who still try to run it as if it is worth staying in. It needs a major overhaul to ever be a decent hotel again. The picture must be of...
