"Quiet clean excellent mattresses. A restful overnight stop. We booked via Expedia, chosing this hotel based on location, reviews & pet policy. There is no method to confirm we were bringing a small dog. 24 hrs prior to arrival, a check-in link was emailed. I filled in, was ready to send then reviewed to hotel policy which indicated $250 charge with be placed on credit card if pet in room. This required 2 panic late night phone calls ( 1st went to voice mail) directly to hotel. Staff stated this charge was if customers didn’t tell them there is a dog. This added stress on a long journey was unnecessary & the hotel policy language needs to be clarified & revised"
