Het eten in het restaurant is voortreffelijk evenals het ontbijt wat deze zondagmorgen zeer uitgebreid was (er waren ook locals die alleen kwamen ontbijten). De kamer is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien: lekkere bedden, een zitje buiten, cup-koffiezetapparaat en een koelkastje. Er is een stoel en een bureautje (een middelgroot bankje was misschien nuttiger geweest). "

"De locatie van het hotel is prachtig gelegen aan de Rursee, met een groot buitenterras. Als je in het laagseizoen gaat is het heel rustig en is de omgeving perfect geschikt voor mooie wandelingen. Het hotel zelf voelt in de kamers ietwat gedateerd aan, maar het is wel allemaal schoon en alles werkt naar behoren. Het zelfbedieningsrestaurant is goed, maar ook niet meer dan dat. "Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

"Fijn huiselijk, niet te groot hotel met erg vriendelijke eigenaresse. Geen fancy vd Valk taferelen, maar brandschoon, alles aanwezig, en gewoon waar voor je geld en de kamers achter hebben een waanzinnig uitzicht ! Ik ga zeker terug komen."

"Convenient to get to Merode. Unfortunately we stayed the night there was a large group also staying and there was a lot of noise. We were also mostly unable to use the kitchen because the group that was staying kind of took it over. Parking and access was a bit tricky, as another guest had parked in two spots, so we had to find a place a few blocks away. The keypad for the door was a bit sensitive. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable."
